KORONEIKI

KORONEIKI

With a strong fruity aroma reminiscent of freshly cut grass, green apple, artichoke, and walnut, our Koroneiki variety has a moderate bitter and pungent tone, making it ideal for a variety of cuisines and cooking methods.

Harvest season begins in late November using solely mechanical means. The extraction process, via cold pressing (malaxation temperature <27°C), is completed within 24 hours from harvest to ensure the superior quality and the preservation of antioxidant levels. Storage is carried out in certified stainless steel nitrogen tanks (the use of which eliminates the presence of oxygen by automatically replenishing the space created in the tank as it empties, while balancing pressure). In this way, we ensure that our olive oil does not oxidize and retains all its nutrients intact before bottling. The extraction and bottling processes take place in Kyparissia, Messinia.

The excellent microclimate and soil factors that characterize the Messinian terroir, combined with the high-quality harvesting and oil extraction methods we apply, deliver low acidity levels.

Available in 5L / 500ml tinplate cans and 100ml glass bottles, lightly filtered.

MANAKI

MANAKI

A pleasantly sweet olive oil with a strong fruity aroma, featuring undertones of tomato, apple, banana, and grass, balanced by light bitterness and gentle pungency. It is ideal for both cold and warm salads, white meats, roasted mushrooms, and fish, making it an excellent choice for dressings such as vinaigrette.

The unique terroir of the Arkadian highlands (>650m), combined with the abundancy of underground and surface streams in the region, offer ideal growing conditions for the Manaki variety.

HIGH PHENOLIC KORONEIKI

HIGH PHENOLIC KORONEIKI

The finest expression of our Koroneiki variety. An exceptional extra virgin olive oil of high nutritional value and authentic Mediterranean character. Produced from early harvest in mid-October and immediately cold-pressed, it preserves all of its precious natural compounds.

With a remarkably high polyphenol content of 1,551 mg/kg, it far exceeds the minimum threshold of 250 mg/kg, making it an exceptionally rich source of natural antioxidants. It contains elevated levels of oleocanthal (484 mg/kg) and oleacin (189 mg/kg), significantly above the international average of 135 and 105 mg/kg, respectively. These valuable compounds are associated with strong biological activity and have been related to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardioprotective and neuroprotective activity.

Our high-phenolic olive oil meets the approved health claim of the European Union (Health Claim EU 432/2012) regarding polyphenolic olive oils and the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress, as it contains 31.02 mg of hydroxytyrosol and tyrosol derivatives per 20 g of olive oil (the claim applies only to olive oils containing at least 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives per 20 g).

The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 20 g of olive oil.

Its organoleptic profile is distinguished by a rich, fruity aroma with notes of wild herbs and citrus, while the full-bodied bitterness and lively, peppery finish are indicators of its high polyphenol content.

Available in 100 ml glass bottles.
